World Youth Day is an international celebration with the Pope that happens every three years in a different country. We celebrated this worldwide encounter at the beginning of August this year. From August 1 to August 6, World Youth Day was celebrated in Lisbon, Portugal. This celebration is open to all young people who want to feel closer to Jesus Christ with their peers. World Youth Day is an opportunity to give hope to many young people who are being committed to the Church and to Jesus Christ. This celebration can help deepen your faith to feel and be closer to God and to Jesus Christ. The next World Youth Day will be held in Seoul, Korea and it would most likely take place in the summer of 2027.
