RCT Storybook Cafe

Last Saturday, April 6, Richmond Civic Theatre hosted their annual Storybook Cafe. This is a fundraiser for the Stage One Youth Theatre Program. Several teenagers and young adults involved in the theatre dress up as popular Disney princesses or Marvel superheroes and host a meet-and-greet for kids. Mother Goose does a read-along with the children. There is also breakfast included, and a book to get autographs.

This is a super fun event. Multiple Seton students were involved: Allison Hamilton, Maya Hamilton, and Adeliena Burket. These students dressed up as different characters, such as Snow White, Belle, and Spider-Gwen. There were several other characters included, and even a sing-along with Moana to "How Far I'll Go." The kids love coming and getting pictures with some of their favorite characters. This event occurs yearly, so if you have any younger siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, or even just family friends' kids, make sure you tell them about this exciting opportunity!
