Get to Know Mrs. Coffin

Mrs. Christy Coffin has been teaching for around nine years and went to college at Hanover College. Before she worked at Seton, she was a teacher at Centerville High School.

Mrs. Coffin has worked at Seton for two years and teaches three classes: American Literature, Composition, and Dramatic Literature. One of her favorite things to discuss with her students is character and theme development. Plays, longer stories, and longer novels are the most enjoyable pieces for her to teach. Mrs. Coffin was interested in working at Seton because she liked the idea of working for a Christian school. Seton was also able to be flexible with her class schedule making it possible to care for her daughter with special needs, while still being able to teach.

Mrs. Coffin is married to her husband Adam. They have been married for ten years. Mrs. Coffin and Mr. Coffin have a six year old son and a four year old daughter. They also have an Australian shepherd dog named Athena. Mrs. Coffin is a mother, wife, and teacher and is greatly appreciated.
