Our annual Volley for the Cure activities were a success! Volley for the Cure is always the volleyball team's favorite part of the season. It started off strong with the boys tournament. There were four teams, the Minorities, the Sloppy Joes, MBN, and the Dads. The winner of the tournament was the Minorities, which included players Malik Walker, Diego Julian, Eric Parker, Nolan Burkhardt, Gavin Killion, Colin Murray, and Mason Harvey. They were coached by Juniors, Bryn VanVleet and Bella Cornell. All the teams did a great job and had fun competing against each other.

The next activity was the a lock-in for girls in grades Pre-K-6. There were about 80 girls who attended and they had a blast. During the lock-in the girls got their hair and nails done and could have their face painted or get a temporary tattoos. Afterward they had pizza and a glow in the dark dance party! The girls got to run around with their friends and hang out with the high school volleyball players.

The Volley for the Cure festivities ended with the high school volleyball game against Winchester. Seton swept Winchester in three sets. It was a good win for the Lady Cardinals. The volleyball moms did an amazing job with a bake sale; making treats that were sold at every game to raise money. All of the money raised during these event went to Indiana Women in Need (IWIN) to help those battling breast cancer. Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2023 Volley for the Cure one to remember!
