She is looking forward to this school year and having all of her students excel. Welcome Mrs. Snider!
On September 9th Seton held its annual HOCO dance at the Chuck Memorial Gym. The dance was set up by this year's Junior class with much help from their SRT teacher Mrs. Burket. The Theme for the dance was Cloud 9. The gym was decorated beautifully, filled with lights, balloons, and much more. There were also snacks provided by students and parents such as cotton candy, chocolate covered pretzels, and macaroons. During this wonderful night Senior's Andrew Warner and Logen Griffin were crowned Homecoming King and Queen.
Last winter the class of 2029 came to shadow at the high school and see what school was like here. Well, they have finally made it into the high school and are starting off this school year strong. With so much ahead of them we asked them some questions about
their time here at Seton so far. We asked two seventh graders, Sabrina Crisp and Jacob Brandenstein, four questions and these were their responses!
What were you expecting coming into the High School?
Sabrina said that she was expecting the High School to be scary. Jacob said that he was expecting anything negative, but was expecting new activities.
One thing you like so far and one thing that you don't?
Sabrina said that she likes that she can get to her locker easily. She doesn't like that there sometimes will be drama.
Jacob said that he likes playing in the band and will be playing until he graduates. He hopes to play with the Notre Dame Band one day. Jacob doesn't like the fact that he is expected to do certain things, then expecting not to do certain things.
Do you like having multiple teachers, or do you prefer just one teacher?
Sabrina said that she likes having multiple teachers because she is already comfortable with some of her teachers.
Jacob said that he is used to having multiple teachers because he has had a variety since the fifth grade, so he likes having more than one teacher.
What was the biggest change coming into High School?
Sabrina said that the biggest change was the schedules and the amount of homework that she receives.
Jacob said the biggest change was coming into high school. He said that having eight classes was the biggest change.
