Sectionals took place on October 15th in Connersville. The Seton Catholic Cross Country team is small but mighty. Sara Swinney and Gwynie Falcone both advanced to Regionals. Gwynie ran a 21.38, getting 12th place, and Sara ran a 22.54, getting 25th place. Gwynie was the first individual qualifier and Sara was the 7th individual qualifier.

Both girls advanced to the Regional round of the tournament. Although neither of the girls advanced to the state tournament they ran well. Overall it was a great season from the Lady Cardinals.

This season was a great year for all our fall athletes. The fall sports offered at Seton this season were junior high volleyball, junior high cross country, high school volleyball, high school cross country, and high school soccer. Both the junior high volleyball team and the varsity volleyball team had a winning record. The high school cross country team had two runners, Gwynie Falcone and Sara Swinney, who advanced to regionals. The junior high cross country team improved a lot throughout the season. While the soccer team did not have a winning record, they showed great improvement by the end of the season. The high school volleyball team had 3 school records broken or tied by Bryn VanVleet and Bella Cornell. Overall, these teams worked hard and showed great sportsmanship. These players are all great examples of student-athletes.

The annual 4th Street Fair was a grand time. The fair took place on the autumnal weekend of October 7th and 8th. Fair-goers could partake in multiple fun activities. Local food trucks, arts & crafts, and activities including fun games were everywhere. There was something for everyone. Two of the biggest spotlights were those on the brilliant performances by our own Seton Catholic Choir and Band. Our choir serenaded fair-goers, from calming melodies to upbeat show tunes. We thank all of the talented musicians who gave their time to entertain us with melodic tunes. Be sure to stop by the fair next year for even more fall fun!
