All School Mass for Catholic Schools Week took place on February 2nd at Seton Catholic High School. This finished our celebration of Catholic Schools Week. Every year we have three all school Masses that bring all of the Seton Schools' student body and staff together. The Mass began with the student council class representatives carrying lighted candles for Candlemas to represent all of us and Fr. Nick blessing the candles and people with incense. This Mass is a favorite for many students because of how close they feel to their peers when they are all in mass together with people from all grades. I asked Trinity Moses what she liked about All School Mass and she said, " Being able to attend church and share communion with all ages." Mya Vaughn said, "I love the feeling of community and all the songs sung by the the entire church."

Each year, the senior class comes in to school early and makes breakfast for the students and staff in our school. The class of 2024 made their breakfast one to remember! They came up with the menu which included: waffles, eggs, breakfast sausage, a fruit smoothie and orange juice. Waking up early and making breakfast made them all come together as one to make a delicious breakfast and give the other students a great start to their day! The class of '24 had a lot of fun making breakfast in the process, which included a lot of dancing and singing to their childhood songs. Senior Sophia Coyner says, "Although I didn't like waking up early; I think it was a good way to bond with the class before we go our separate ways and graduate."

Catholic Schools Week is a week to celebrate being a part of a Catholic School. It is a week of fun dress days, activities, and remembering the Lord who made it all possible. Monday the students got to wear free dress. We also celebrated our community by writing thank you letters to the fire department and police department. We capped the day by praying the rosary in church. Tuesday was USA day so the students got to wear red, white, and blue. The choir sang the National Anthem in the morning for the school and every class received donuts. Wednesday was crazy spirit wear for students to show their school spirit! The seniors also made breakfast for the students in the morning. Thursday was dress as your favorite teacher day. The Junior class held a coffee fundraiser in the atrium. McDonald's provided the coffee and the junior class brought donuts and muffins. Friday was regular uniform because of All School Mass. It was step up day for the sixth graders. The sixth graders stayed at the high school and shadowed the seventh and ninth graders. The spirit stick games took place in the gym at the end of the day. The seniors won and the juniors were the runner up. It was another successful week and the students all had a blast celebrating their Catholic school.
