This week's senior slay is Sonny Stanley. Sonny has attended Seton since 7th grade. His plans for the future are to attend IU East and get a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He plans on using this degree in taking on someone's business or possible making one of his own. Sonny has played basketball and soccer all four years of high school, he also ran track for three years. Sonny also plans on playing baseball for his senior year. His favorite class was Chemistry with Mr. Reichley. Sonny's favorite memory at Seton is either his sophomore year retreat, or his trip to COSI. A fun fact about Sonny is that he enjoys just about anything to do with cars; whether it be building and racing them, or making it look nice for a car show. Sonny's advice to younger students is to find something you're interested in, focus on it, and work hard to make it become reality. His most slay moment of high school was either being inducted into the National Honor Society, or being awarded 2nd All-Conference Team this year in soccer.

Our winter sports seniors were celebrated at two different home basketball games. Our basketball and cheer seniors were honored on January 25, when the basketball team played Muncie Burris; our swim seniors were honored February 17, at Earlham when the basketball team played Lincoln. Our basketball seniors are, Mason Harvey, Nolan Burkhardt, Malik Walker, Diego Julian, Andrew Warner, Sonny Stanley, and manager Nguyen Le, cheerleader senior Logen Griffen, and the swim seniors are, Mekenna Mcdonald, Bella Diehl, Sophia Coyner, Robert Bagby, and Jack Fraley. Basketball senior Mason Harvey broke multiple records this season becoming the school's second all-time leading scorer, and breaking the career 3-pointer made. We wish the best for all the seniors as they continue the rest of their final year at Seton!

The junior high boys basketball team didn't have the best of a season. Ian Vournazos says that 8th grade won three games their whole season. They won one of their games during the PACC tournament. The 8th graders would say that Eli Brown was one of the top scorers on their team. Eli Brown says " it says it was a lot of fun growing as a team and growing as friends." Levi Evicks says " Their season was fun even though they didn't win a lot, he had fun growing with his teammates and as a player." We wish the 8th graders the best of luck next year as they play at the high school level. The 7th grade boys had a better season they won 5 games their whole season. The 7th graders have a lot of good players that were always scoring. Case Towns and Carson Scheiben were the leading scorers on their team. We wish the 7th graders the best of luck next year as they return for their final year in junior high basketball.
